A Happy Place

A digital painting based on my architectural thesis project. I designed the building using AutoCAD for floorplans and SketchUp for 3D modelling, then used some referential photos of the final project as guides for the digital painting.

There were minor changes between the original building project and the scene, such as brightening some colors and a total different landscape design, just to create a happier and cartoony look but maintaining the main architectural design and using it as focal point.
